Logs
Visited twice today after reading previous logs and noting the clue. I'm sure I've nailed the location but nothing there. Even found evidence of the fire noted in previous log.
5 years is a good run for a cache.
Since I no longer reside in Morphett Vale, and am only down there once a month or so, and it looks like the cache has gone missing, I shall archive this off, an hope that another local will use the area, and show the history of the suburb.

Thanks to Saintsno1 for doing a bit of maintenance on this one, it's overdue, and I really should have done it a long time ago.

he wanted to find this 1 and i wanted to check on it also
i brought another cache container and some bags
replaced the container as it was not suitable any longer
both log books was full which we managed to fit into container
hopefully this 1 will stay dry
the cache was replaced in the same location

Second visit proved more fruitful.
I was rewarded with a cache that is almost dripping. Glad I had a pen which was specially designed to write on water.

Ugh appologies for not getting there yet, interstate travel for work has been high the last couple of months, and getting the time to do maintenance, or even cache has been very hard.
WanderingAus wandered by on day 98 of a "climatic refugee" trip, and made a pretty quick GAFF 1 find.
The container was half full of water and the two log books and all the contents were saturated, so I dried the container, calling cards and swaps as well as I could, then put the log books into a new ziplock bag, the swaps and calling cards into another ziplock bag, and put one of my emergency log books into a third ziplock bag.
The owner or a local should retrieve the logbooks and dry them out as soon as possible. The choice of container was not the best, particularly when the log book isn't put into a ziplock bag.
My find No 1799, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing it back again.

I'll try and get there soon to replace the log book, and possibly the cache container!
The cache seems not to be sealed well, as the log book and contents are very wet.

Grace, 5, and I spend 30 minutes searching for this one. Now that I see other peoples photos of how big it is, I can't believe we did not find it. Will come back another time.

Thanks to saintsno1 for replacing the log book. I have only just seen your found log, and the log saying that you had replaced the book.
I've been at the June Long weekend event so haven't been home all weekend to have a chance to do this.

Loved the rabbits. When we arrived they all darted back into the old school there was about 10 rabbits all out at dawn. Great time for this one with the rabbits. Took marge and Left Gecko TFTC
A quick find this afternoon as the drought has affected the covering shrub. Hid it a little better. TFTC
Some interesting older buildings here. Cache was found quickly enough with the help of the clue thanks setsujoku
nice easy find . what nice old buildings . tftc tnln . just a not for those who go late at night . 2 things 2 watch out for . ants and lots of then . and also 2 homles people sleeping near the cache seemed harmless but a bit of a fright when they move as not to be seen .
This cache was found as part of my Southern Suburbs invasion. Thanks to all who placed caches allowing me find nearly 200 caches in 7 days.
interesting to find these old buildings in the middle of generally featureless suburbia
Have been informed that there was a fire nearby to this cache last night, so if you search for it in the next couple of days, be prepared that it might not be there, or you might not be able to get access to GZ
I will check the area out when i return from melbourne shortly

Found on our way going home after being at the Pub Lunch Event in Adelaide.
A couple of boys were in the area on their skateboards but we stood there admiring the flowers and the plants and they moved on.

This one has alluded us for some time. A gps with descent reception under trees led us straight to it. Thanks again setsujoku.
Geocache was not found, was wondering if someone could check if it is still there.
Found this one today at approx 3pm. A great location, we drive down this street quite frequently. It saddens us that more is not being done to maintain these buildings ... especially the church. Hopefully the maintanence won't be left until too late. No swaps. Thanks for the cache!
Found after 3 visits. The clue was a big help. Left Marge Simpson, took rubber frog.
THENANKS from QLD were on their way to Victor Harbor today and dedided to stop and grab a few caches along the route. Wer are amazed at the number of stone buildings in and around Adelaide!
IN : A mini torch
OUT: a sachet of ginger powder and a TB.
Thanks

Found this one on our way to Victor Harbor with TheNanks whilst on holidays from Queensland. What a windy windy day. Enjoyed this little piece of history - the geokids found it quite intereting. No Swaps today.
Three of us enjoyed drive the car for the day. Thanks for organising the cache and hunt.
I suspect that the historic buildings looked a bit better at night than during the day.
A quick find and we were off again.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks, Robmc.
Found this one rather late and there were a few young people around the streets kicking up a bit of noise so we kept as quiet as possible and used the torch as little as possible too so we didn't draw attention.
I suppose we saw less of the historic buildings than we might have otherwise but still good to come here and find a cache.

Also quiet today so quick find. These historic buildings are in need of a little love and attention.

Very quiet today which helped us in retrieving and replacing the cache. Thanks setsujoku
This one took a couple of visits as on the first try a truck driver had tried back down one of the drive ways on the other side of the road and had bottomed out and become stuck. Gotta feel a bit sorry for the bloke on Christmas Eve. Came back a bit later in the day and found reasonable quickly.

We have the same in our planter boxes! That helped somewhat, although I was worried Mum might smell it on me and think we had attacked the bushes again. We were always getting in trouble for that as kids. Took TB, left scuba divers and a Christmas Wreath. Was very nearly sprung by the local man of the cloth. TFTC
An interesting spot indeed. Had a chance to spy inside one building, and also noted the outside yard in the other.
Discovered that birds also hide where caches can be found.... not sure who was more startled, the bird or the cacher, but I do know which one flew away and which one stayed to fill in the log....
Thanks for an interesting cache placement.

Waited around for about 10 minutes for a couple of muggles to load up their van and depart. Finally had my chance, and swooped in to search. Hey, I looked there last time, I swear! Oh well, at least its off the list now.
TNLN - Thanks Setsujoku!

We could'nt find cache! lovely buildings (although there is squatters living in school house and have done alot of damage to it) will try again with more time!
Quick find this visit with nobody around. I wonder how dangerous the building next door is and if someone will do something about it one day. TNLNSL, thanks setsujoku.
Area was deserted today, and GPS was reading a distance of 1 meter as I pulled up. Unfortunately didn't find a cache, only a nicely cache shaped cavity. I suspect that some gardening has been performed and the cache "tidied up" .
After waiting ages for everyone to leave the nearby church we had a look but couldn't find it even with plant knowledge. Saw a few good spots where it could have been but no luck today
passed by for a quick glance. not in the same spot as i originally placed it, but only a foot away
all good, though sad to see the buildings continuing to get worse for wear

Nice location for the history in this area.
Pity about the state of the buildings someone should take responsibility (Local or State Govt.) and do some preservation work.

Found this on the way back from Christies crossing just because it was so close we couldnt resist. Mr and Floss got out of the car to do the finding and they attracted the attention of a neighbouring muggle but he must have thought that Floss didnt look too menacing and soon lost interest. Nice surprise to find Sally TB I think we can help it T: Sally TB L: badge TFTC (interesting spot)
Lovely spot! Mr and Mrs Trail06 reminisced about their time walking around this area while Miss Trail06 grabbed the cache! Left 'Sally' the Travel Bug. TFTC! Loved it!
I'm sure I looked there last time. I still don't get the clue. I am glad to get this one off the list though, Thanks.

The first time we got here it was 9:00am on a Sunday morning, the worst possible time for this particular cache -- there were LOTS of muggles about. We went back this afternoon and it was very quiet.
Found 18:10. 10th of 12 FFTD. Dragged the Geokids and the nearly 9 month pregnant Mrs E out of the house for the afternoon of caching, probably the last time for awhile . Quick find. TNLNSL. TFTC.
An easy drive by, nearly didn't have to get out of the car to get this one!. TNLN TFTC
We drive along the main road within 70m of this spot in daily commuting yet never new these historic buildings existed. Thanks Setsujoku for allowing us to discover this bit of local history.
What a nice surprise to find such history so well kept in such a busy area - TFTC
We found it! What a neat place- we had our Geoson grab the cache and he chose what he wanted from it- Geomom got to take something she has wanted for a long time, too!
Nice to see older buildings still around- thanks for showing us this area- have never been here.
We also ( temporarily) adopted the DiverSmurf TB and looking forward to showing him around a jetty or two!
OUT: DiverSmurf TB, Tupperbowl Keychain, small giraffe
IN: Maze game, glow in dark teddy bear, iridescent glass marble
