Took a walk through the Gaslamp Quarter this morning hoping to find a few caches along the way, but the signal was poor with the high buildings around and most of the caches did not have good enough hints to enable a quick find with stealth. Too many muggles for long searches, so I gave up on that and headed for a quieter area - or so I thought. Turns out this little park is presently a temporary home to a large number of 'urban campers' and one group were facing the hide location. The cache itself was in full view and I guess they must already know about it, but I followed the advice on the cache page and counted the numbers of mounds rather than put the cache at any further risk. Answer sent to owner. TFTC.
Late night, almost 22:00, noone there, so easy find. Thought I must have a little tour to attempt these mugglefactor caches at the village.
Can you imaginge what happened: The Arkaroo forgot his pen! Not pants - PEN! Fortunately, you held a pencil, which I borrowed for an hour - it's back in place right now, thanks, mate!

A lot of "sleepers" around here while caching on my lunch break - reminded me of S. King for some reason - hey, this ain't Maine!?!

Found while biking the waterfront and Gaslamp District. Visiting from the Baltimore, Maryland area. Signed the log and put it back in its spot.
In town tagging along while my wife’s at a convention, so I figured I had to work in some geocaching. Pretty much stuck to places in walking distance of the trolley. Found it really pays to look for these caches close in to downtown early in the morning, when the workers are still at home, the urban campers are still asleep, and the only folks round are too busy with their morning jog to take much notice.

OK, what were we missing? Checked the couple spots that matched the hint, only to come up emptyhanded...
