A quiet, peaceful oasis surrounded by the hustle and bustle of urban life. Thank you for taking us there. Unfortunately an extensive search failed to come up with the goods though.

14-Feb-10
Unfortunately after a good 45 mins of searching whilst the muggles werent watching (quite hard on a sunday afternoon), I had no luck Sad hoping that the cache is still existing as its been some time since the last find on this one.

first one and im addicted!

17-Dec-09
Found easily in the second place I looked.
I looked in one obvious location, and it wasn't there, so I moved on to the next obvious location, and came up a winner Smile
Very nice park!
The lake was covered in some pale pink stuff, which made it look like it was a solid thing to stand on - luckily I was proved wrong by not falling through it first.

My daughter and I went to "Invention of Lying" at Salisbury Cinema and had a bit of time to kill and geo-greyhound Amy needed to stretch her legs. Amy so much wanted to chase the ducks ... and she's a good swimmer, but I didn't let her.
My GPS couldn't get a good fix, but daughter suggested a spot and lo, there it was. TFTC. PS didn't have a writing instrument so I couldn't sign log.

Great little park with a duckpond in the heart of Salisbury. I got there with no-one around and almost instantly a man walking his dog stood right next to me and commenced chatting and feeding the ducks. Sunday was apparently his duck feeding day whilst his wife went shopping across the road. Got talking and comparing holidays in Hawaii, so that was interesting to hear. After about 30 minutes he and his doggy friend wandered off and I was able to quickly retrieve the cache at 1.50pm. As I was filling the log entry about 6 kiddies with parents in tow came along to inspect (read 'chase') the ducks. As soon as they wandered off to the other side of the pond it was time to complete this one. It may be easier to do this during the week but I must admit it was a nice place to sit and watch the activities on a lovely summer Sunday. Took a 'Gawler" badge and left a Zebra. Thanks to the Barramundies for a pleasant alternative to waiting in the mall for the wife!

This was cache # 71 of 77 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. We parked in the woolies car park and headed to the creek where we found a new type of bridge that someone had installed, it was called a shopping trolley bridge. I really liked this area. My thanks to The Barramundi's for the cache.

01-Nov-09
On a caching trip from Melbourne with Acts2YouthGroup This was a rather lovely park here, and thankfully crossing the creek was pretty easy to get to the cache.

29-Oct-09

A simple find on a quick tour north-south of Adelaide. Thanks The Barramundi's.

27-Oct-09
Found in the company of Winglen and McPhan while exploring Adelaide.

A nice green park with a convenient creek that needed jumping. Made a quick find, since the cache was pretty visible, but did the decent thing when we left. Thanks Barramundis.

2382. This was a chance for men of a certain age to jump the raging river. So, being men of a certain age that's what we did. RexTrex went first and then turned and performed a credible imitation of his homeland haka to keep me on the other side. Eventually he relented and stopped pulling faces so that I could cross with much grunting. Much grunting then said goodbye and we found the cache totally exposed. So we did the right thing and put some clothes on it after logging. The return to the car was done the sensible (boring) way.

TFTC and the leap of faith.

Great spot for a walk etc. TFTC TNLNSL. Like these easy ones where ageing legs not challenged by difficult terrain and nature's nasties. As Mum26 said, log is very full.

25-Apr-09
The last of our finds for this wet and wild day. Our gps wanted us to get even wetter as it had GZ in the middle of the pond at first and was continuing to be a bit erratic. Took a punt at a couple of likely looking spots nearby and soon had the cache in hand.
A lovely green spot to visit.

Dropped off a Maryland GC

Showing my age with this cache as I remember taking my son down here whilst his mother did the shopping. He's 20 years old now, so this is the first time in 20 years I've been in this park. Thanks for taking me here again.

An easy find, but a muggle cyclist on the nearby bench turned around just as I retrieved the cache. I had to cachenap this for a bit, and the same cyclists were just leaving as I returned the cache about an hour later.

16-Aug-08
Found on a rainy afternoon with Geo-son. Had to jump that creek from carpark, which was.....interesting, with bub in arms. Lucky I made it. GPS put me in the middle of open round, so had to look for potential GZ. Found in a few minutes. Geo-son loved the ducks in the pond and nearby and had great fun attempting to catch them. TNLN. TFTC Barramundi's.
