Decided to give this a try despite recent lack of success but we too were not able to find it.
Looked for quite a while, we will be back for a 2nd look.

Could it be we looked too hard?
The weeds are not too high at the present but the fennel is taking off.
Doesn't seem to be many spots for a cache of the published size here,
Might need a check to see if it is still in place.

Spent quite a while looking but could not find it - undergrowth is fairly high at the moment though. Will try again another day as we lost the daylight.
Just thought I would add to my log -
I have looked for this cache again on at least 3 or 4 more occasions now with no better luck (it is on my regular dog walking trail - I am not really that obsessive, ok maybe a little! ). There is a very distinct empty rock lined hole near to the GZ which keeps attracting my attention? The are has been mowed lately but the council has nicely left this area native - Please could the cache be checked.

Pleasant walk in the park but was unable to locate cache. Sounds like it is cleverly hidden. Good excuse to return and try again. Grass and sour sobs were nearly as high as the fennel Thanks for the nice walk anyway.
This one was hidden in a great place with a view. Also was able to hear the din from the nearby primary school. Tnlnsl. Tftc.
Hi great geo cache took a while too find didn't expect it to be under the rock and it does have a pencil thanks by dhale2
A rather steep pinch at the end!

Bees a go-go! Take the high road and then another! I love the fennel scent, 'geoboy' doesn't. (Rowdy Dude, thanks for the trodden grass clues, you were so close!)
no luck for us, after watching rowdy_dude and friend chasing each other in the fennel we gave up. Crazy fennel though!
second attempt as there were muggles everywhere the first time so aborted on that occasion. And proof that if there is a hard way to get to GZ, thats the way I'll take! realised there was an easier way back to the car. Swapped a bouncy ball for some really needed suntan cream. Thanks to whoever left that. TFTC
Finally found one....I've had a shocking run after a long break from GC'ing.
Nice spot!

We were a bit nervous in the high grass on such a warm day, but thankfully no slytherans were sighted. Nice park and thankyou for organising the cache. Grabbed TB.

Found this cache around this date, but didnt log it online, but now logging itFound using a 1999 marine GPS receiver that is so old it didnt even have a keypad, which made it quite hard to add coords.Plenty of fennel around GZ and found the cache tucked away in the rocks in a park that I played soccer in.
Just down the hill from Little Pilgrim's relatives. Was in Adelaide for the weekend for a wedding. Picked up I (heart) My Cat TB (placed earlier in the day). Will move on to NSW next.
Very nice day for caching. Down this way for Pedal Prix. Thought we would do a few caches. TFTC, TNLN, SL
We found this some time ago while out for a Sunday picnic and walking the dog.
TNLN and didn't SL as we didn't have a pen in the cache or with us. Took a pic of the logbook instead/

Fennel was right! A nice short walk in and a quick find. There was rain around but not as I was doing this cache. Thanks stanleys.
With Blindshambles on a nice warm day. I used to swim in the nearby dam many years ago. TNLNSL. Cheers and thanks.
Found 12.15pm
We located the cache after a bit of a scramble. We watched a few people running around the oval and then headed back to the car.

A nice find - even safe amongst many muggles.
We came by after coming to the location for U8 soccer. A great game and a nice explore topped off by the opportunity to release our first geocoin.

An attrctive spot for a picnic or for son in-law Mick to try out (unsuccessfully) his new model aircraft. Exchanged a May Gibbs Height Chart for a Mickey Mouse key ring. Many thanks.
Found this one early in out days caching, have relatives very near by who run the Nunkri orchard just up the hill.
The Fennel, after which the cache was named is all dead, it appears to have been chopped down or mown? Hopefully it will regrow. Nice location.

Came here before looking for the cache, unfortunately the local school was having their annual sports day and there was hundreds of kids and their parents running around. Decided to come back another time. Much easier this time. Thanks for the hide. Loved it.
Found at 21:30.
It took a while in the dark, and now I smell of fennel. A nice walk, although I was a bit wary of the people sitting in their car in the car park.
No swap.

Nice outlook and a beaut little park. Found the cache without difficulty. TNLN. Thanks stanleys
LOL this cache was made for Moneydork - straight up the hill like a Juggernaught! Cheers Gav [1494]

10:46 a.m. This cache was found on our record-breaking attempt to find the most caches in a 24 hours period; we ended up finding 195 all up.
Thanks to all the cachers who placed these interesting caches in Adelaide.
I only wish we could have spent more time appreciating the locations that we visited on our whistle stop tour.

Very liquoricely liquorice cache indeed! Found with The Batgirls and took the key to the city TB. Cheers!
since I found it Winter dragon I should be the FTF... lol yes winter dragon had me climbing all over the embankment until he realised he had the wrong coordinates in his gps... a quick find once we had the correct locations.. great spot... funny to see a sports field in the middle of nowhere.
I took the travel bug (4JXTDE), but it does not seem to be logged into this cache

FTF the newly reactivated cache! Went looking for this with Miss Jane, but took a while to realise that my GPS was still loaded up with the old coordinates, so we'd spent most of our time searching the wrong place. Miss Jane fired up her GPS, we keyed in the right coordinates and set off back the way we'd come. I was starting to lose hope as the daylight faded, but eagle eye Miss Jane came up trumps!

Decided to archive as original spot is no longer viable and create a new spot nearby.
Went to visit today after reading the last log and decided to take this one off line for a little while. Container needs replacing. May have to rename altogether as council has cleaned up the fennel.
Looks like the council has done some slashing as the fennel is all gone. The cache was open and the log on the ground all wet through. Needs some TLC. Contents of the cache were still intact. Hid it well under some rocks.
When found it was completely in the open, and lid was off. Hope I hid it better. Quite damp inside, though not wet. Took Smiley faced yoyo keyring, left 69 chevy corvette & road safety key ring. Now that I have found one of yours, how about finding one of mine?
I think TomTom brought us in from the wrong carpark so it was quite a walk but such a lovely spot so we didn't mind. Great aroma at the cache location T:owl L: owl TFTC
We took a pleasant stroll from Myrtle to find this one. Had a bit of a look around and came up smelling like ... fennel.
Thanks for the cache stanleys - lovely location.

Certainly a day for the geologists but I clawed one back with this one, TFFT! I was surprised to find an oval here. TFTC
Lovely spot. Came here often, many years ago. Used to attend the nearby school! TNLN, thanks stanleys!
Last of 10 finds for the day. Nice stroll in the park but ended up at the wrong elevation but it wasn't that hard to get to. Took a tennis ball for the kids and left some suncream in the hope summer returns. Thanks stanleys.
With Dylanja. Cache was near, but not in the spot I expected it to be... A nice cache that didn't require us non-botanical types to know what fennel actually looks like [^].
Missed the turn for Goodies Radio and was looking for somewhere to turn around when I recognised the street name. So we did a large U turn that involved another cache!

Woohoo! A cache only fifteen metres from the first control of my orienteering course. Now that's what I call two for one. Lucky it was right near my first control because the batteries ran out about five seconds after I found the cache.
TNLNSL - the quickest log I've ever made I reckon, as there was a steady stream of orienteers heading to the control behind me.

Found OK...lots of new plants going in...I helped with a bit of mulching nearby!
As has been logged, a team effort with KriKe, Mr KriKe senior and Team TDB. There is an easier way to this but we chose the path less travelled.
Soon located by Mr KriKe senior, log signed and cache replaced before the muggle arrived with his dog.

Still teamed up with Lead n Lace and Team TDB we headed up the road to this. A steep and slick walk down the hill had us wondering why we didnt come in the easy way. An easy find by Old Mr KriKe (making a special guest appearance) and we were on our way back up the hill for jelly cakes.
