Logs
The cache is still there. There are two 35mm film containers.
One is damaged & water logged, the other is fine.
Log is full, so next cacher may need some paper & a pen.
X marks the spot.

What a great spot. Unfortunatley for me not a great spot for a find today. I had a good look around for about 5 minutes but then a few muggles arrived and I had a meeting to get to so I didn't have time to wait them out.
I will be back.
I will be back.
After a thorough, I was unable to locate Cache, went back later and search further - still unable to find. Starting to think it may have been stolen.
Would love to be a student at this outdoor classroom! We searched and searched and then searched some more and in the end had to give up in frustration.
Spent forever searching, gave up and went to the next cache, tried again on the way back, no luck!
the clue was a little confusing, until I happened to stand in the right spot to see it (after finding the cache). Did find it though it took a fair bit of searching and also avoiding muggles.

Looked everywhere for the X marks the spot but couldn't find it. Will have to try next time i'm in Forster.
I found the cache after 15 mins of looking at all the X shapes! I read the logs so knew it had to be tricky. the cache had no log in it so started a new one on a piece of paper. TFTC
Found with wife and 3yo daughter this morning after swim at nearby Burgess beach. Other cachers arrived just just as i was about to log our visit. They headed up the hill to find another nearby cache while i logged visit. Took California micro (will deposit a bit further up the coast on wed). The ants are sure enjoying the dry, apartment-like accommodation they get(heaps of eggs too). Nice spot here that i ride past a couple of times a week on mtb.
Thanks OE I love coming down to Forster, I holidayed here as a kid and now live just up the road, beautiful water, beautiful view and great cache.
Took Mini measure.

Found this okay when paying attention to the gps. However, there are several bench seats nearby & based on the current clue, these seats, which are bolted to pavers, are being lifted up and this is causing damage.
Please do not lift the bench seats up & I will see if I can get the clue changed.

It has been a while since I've been to this area
There are a lot more multi-story apartments than I remember [:o]
But at this quiet time of the year, the shoreline is just as nice as I remember it
There were quite a few "X"s around this part of the shoreline that needed checking today as well.
Fortunately I had brought along a supply of pastries for breakfast while I looked for the cache
Shortly after finishing the last of them, I finally found the correct "X" and the cache
Grrr!

GAFF 2 This was found by Mrs Bushfire while Bushfire was checking out every thing that looked like a cross. The co-ords were spot on and is in a location that has a lot of history and well worth a visit.NI-NO TFTC. She used to be a teacher,I wonder if that was an advantage.
We looked at the hint, but still couldn't find it. After we gave up, we sat on the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sunset.
Thanks for taking us there.
Team gracher

Team gracher
Thanks for the cache we were looking for large things mentioned in the hint which caused us to look in the wrong direction. Well made cache thanks.
#129 @ 2:15pm - Dawsey and I donned our sou'westers and gumboots to grab this one. Lots of possible x's but a quick hunt found the right one. Log is as full as a goog. TFTC.
Geo-hubby zero'd in on area he thought was a 'cert', after 10 minutes conceded he could be wrong. While he was retreating I noticed something 'out of place' and bingo!!
Definitely needs a new log sheet, no space left.

We must have seen 10 X's which were obviously the wrong ones. Amazing what you will make into an X if you want it to be. Found the clever X after a little while. The log sheet was full so a new one is probably needed.
team honeylamb(her idea) was just about to give this one up when i found it. only on returning didi see the hint.
thanks Acko

It was suprising the GPS took us straight there to the centimeter. A great hiding spot. Off to the beach for a swim then continue up the coast for more caches. TFTC.
Yes, great spot for a cache and impressive hide, missed it first time just fount one canister, on second inspection, X does mark the spot, Do’h
A nice little stroll although a bit rainy on this Xmas Eve outing. Cache eluded us at first but we had gone too far. A few steps the other way and it was soon in hand. TNLN.
This was a bit funny to find this cache, We parked next to the same model Gold Odysee that we had. Went walking to it My brother found it easily with the clue. After about 5min after finding the cache my dad got all these mozzies on him (which is not usual). When we got back to our car, the people who had owned the car next to us thought we had stole our car, then she said nice car (I knew the Honda Gold Odysee was quite a good car). Anyway, logged the cache and yeah!
Found this very easily with the clue!! Very clever. Signed log. This is the fourth for the day.
Are we in Forster or is this Tuncurry
Ahh who cares we’re in no hurry
What a great view from here
Not the last I fear
Great hide and yes X marks the spot
Onto the next cache, whilst we’re still hot

Devious hide - at least a dozen places match the hint. Trust your GPSr here.
@ohbeeone: log is on the back of the disclaimer.
Thanks!

Foud OK whilst walking friends dog, but could not locate log book. Emailed Mix, TFTC Mix.
Came back with another young potential geocacher (Soncity) No muggles, as was 2035 when we found it on another night cache crawl.
Nice easy find. No swaps small enough so just logged it and legged it before the muggles got too close.
1325 - Explorers; The rain held off for a bit. Not too sure at first about the clue, so had to be prompted. TFTC
This one took me 3 goes!
We were staying nearby, so I went for an early morning walk to find a couple of caches.
As I approached this cache the first time, there were a couple of older muggles nattering right at GZ - no problem I thought, I shall continue my stroll to "Hawk eye" and find this one on the way back.
On my return a little while later, the gossipers were gone, but there was a constant stream of walkers which made it difficult for me to search properly.
I returned later in the morning armed with my 6yo as a decoy! I read the clue, but perhaps in hindsight maybe I shouldn't have! Like others before me, I didn't find it straight away.
Found it eventually, slapped forehead and signed log.
A nice hide

Now that I am back home at my PC, I realised I missed the GCA cache nearby - info didn't come through the GPX file into GPXSonar

Walked down to benches thinking it was near the X on the benches but then we realised that the GPS wasn't pointing there. So then we saw the X on the rock and found the 2 film cannisters.

Did this one over easter with team wintonio. took way too long to find but we can only blame ourselves. great spot!!
Found this one with the help of our Geo-friends. There are a lot of "X's" to consider as you approach the spot.

The past comments had put me off on a wild goose chase over what must be meant by X marks the spot. When you find it you will understand.
A lovely walk along the coast here, really is a great part of Forster. We found the cache, then a horde of bugs started eating us so we hurried off.

So pleased to find this one. Only one that was found in this area. Great spot and exactly as described. TFTC TNLN Tuccamore
First for the area, we were staying with a teacher from the nearby school and just by chance had to find this one. set me on the right path for 100 metres above ground zero as well. TNLN
nice hide ... now I understand some of the previous logs ... but the location revealed itself without any drama or time ... nice spot ... nothing small enough so TNLN
Find #8 today, almost too obvious when we spotted it LOL. TNLNSL. Thanks for the hunt and nice walk along the coast.
Rated: for Overall Experience
When me, Geof and the Youth Group found this Cache there was a pod of Dolphins swimming just off the coast. TNLN
As we where driveing past we thought why not. There where dolphins swiming about 50 meters out to sea poping up from time to time.
Thanks Mix
Thanks Mix
Easy find with a nice coastal path and great snorkelling nearby. Thanks for this great one, Mix
Hmnnnn...... x marks the spot. Yeah right hehe!! Once again with the newbies, they were very excited and have now adpoted the "muggle, muggle" catch phrase and have also learnt to create their own way of disguising their actions when muggles pass by. Aaron (one of the newbies) had pretended to look like he was working out, doing pushups on the seats to disguise his searching efforts. However, perhaps I should learn how to do pushups also as he was the one who found the cache.
Well done, Aaron! Welcome, to the world of caching and "muggle, muggle to you too" hehe!!
Thanks Mix

There are so many "X's" in this location that the clue makes it harder!
GPS readings were pretty accurate and the search was constantly interrupted by muggles walking off there Christmas lunch.
The cache was finally found by one of our newbies after we had been on location for about twenty minutes with six people searching for the cache.
So congratulations to Aaron for his first find, it made his day.
TNLNSL Thanks again Mix.

Doing some cache hunting in June and found this one (again). Checked log book and had signed in December - must have forgotten to log on line. Well here it is.
Sorry didn't find your cache. search while time. so give up. anyway it was great view. thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
My 1st cache find ever!!!!
Not far from home, took several attempts. I knew I was very close but had no idea what to look for. The clue helped but only after I looked very hard. Took some photos & filled in the log......awesome day for the middle of winter but didn't spot any whales
Next time I'll put a swap in it, Had an ants nest growing in it, but didn't get bit!

Nice spot for a break. Starting to get a bit cold for swimmers so not much action offshore. TNLN
Found at 2.35pm GAFF1. Nice area, thanks for bringing us to this spot - we have never been here and we have cruised around this area many times before. Thanks Mix tn/ln
