Have checked on this one and unfortunately some trees have been removed and the cache seems to have disappeared from the area. Will relocate.
Was looking forward to this one as used to live in Huapai for a while . Unfortunately with all the lopped branches it was hard to unearth anything ....wonder if it's still there ?
I think it's been muggled. There's a lot of cuttings and debris around now, and a lot of disturbance by the look of it.
Goal!! While "junior" was warming up for his football game, this was a quick diversion. Very well hidden cache - didn't take too long to find thanks to the helpful hint.
Out with the parents for lunch and a spot of plant shopping - and thought we would pick up a few quick caches along the way.
A quick easy find after a nice walk through the park.

Last cache of the day as Mr Alligatorsnz has to have a sleep before his night shift. A quick find & nice camo job. Took TB
Visited this cache on our way back from visiting a sick friend in Helensville. Found after a fairly quick search, thanks to the helpful - and sneaky - clue . This has got to be one of the cleverest hides we've found. So much effort has gone into this one - much appreciated. Also really nicely stocked with lots of little tradeables. Dropped off a TB. SL. TFTC
Just checked to make sure all is still in order. Yep, it's still there in good condition but it is purposely well camouflagued.
Dropped off TB.

Everyone Celebrate! This was my very fist cache! Hooray! I am no longer a filthy muggle!
Couldn't find it. There was a lot of fresh tree prunings around and was worried it might have been covered in branches?
Found while on a project in the area. No muggles about but the bumble bee was a bit offputting. Dropped off a geocoin. TFTC
Been on the to do list for ages. So dropped in while passing today. Good grounds and quick find thanks.
Out with the Little one after school today, nice quick find, Thanks heaps.
Travel bug dropped off.

second visit to this one as too many muggles last time. No such trouble this time at 8am in the morning and pea soup fog. Found easy enough as followed GPS but then which way did I come from. couldn't see anything in the fog. By the time I got back to vehicle all the kids were turning up for football.

Went looking for this one with someone who had tried caching before but never really got into it. Good one to do it on we both liked it. Thanks for the effort.
One of the first caches I ever did was located on this very spot, it was nice to come back and re-visit after all these years. Thanks for the cache - a favourite for the memories and awesome camo
On our way back from muriwai, and after some dodgy navigating from evilno9 we finally found ourselves in the rite spot! Lots of muggles round playing football on Saturday afternoon, so evilno9 wandered up and down trying to look unsuspicious while I ducked in and came out with the goods. Very nicely done this one, was just lucky I kicked it as I walked past it and it rolled over! TFTC!
Out on the search for a few crutch friendly caches while I wait for a leg injury to heal and decided to come by here as it had been on my list for a while. Unfortunately lost one of my TBs here previously so we were extra cautious, but I was able to run a distraction play while mel_ramsay made the find. Really nicely done, and a cool little spot. TFTC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Headed out this morning to locate some of the 101 Dalmatian caches that we failed to find when we did the power trail last year. Having more time this trip, we decided to locate some of the other nearby caches also.
After a quick walk across the sports fields we located the cache easily - nice camo job on this one!

Nice cache, wind - you've obviously put some effort in. Nice location too.
It's 8:45 am on Saturday, and noone's here. Met some very friendly four-footed muggles walking their human when I arrived, but that was all.

Was doing the 101 Dalmatians and stopped for some food, finding this one on the way to shops, before heading back to finish them off. An nice little cache. TFTC.
Was out doing 101 Dalmations, decided to take a detour for some food. Saw that this had been replaced since our last DNF. Thanks for setting it up again, it is a lovely cache. Took GC.

GPS seemed to lead to the right area, but no luck in finding it, even after widening our search. Thinking the previous posters may be right in thinking it's been muggled.
We had a scratch around for about 10 minutes but its possible this cache has been muggled. DNF
Nice easy find after a VERY muddy walk across the field [xx(]. It started to rain again as we made our way back. Luckily there was a handy puddle nearby, so we could clean our shoes before getting back in the car, phew! Left TB. TFTC!
Having a great day finding geocaches. Found this cache fairly quickly between rain showers. SL TFTC
NZ11. The field was a bit soggy so it was a delicate walk over. Thanks.

Found with Biggles while caching in the area. A really pleasant spot and well kept facilities. TFTC
Found on day 1 of a 3 day Auckland cache raid with Kiwi Explorer. Found this one just after completing the 101 Dalmatians Puppy Trail. A relief to find a 'real' cache at last. Being a former 'Westie' it was nice to visit old and sort of familiar places. TFTC, Biggles.
Quick find on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Nice to just come out this way for a drive in the country. TFTC

It was all in the park this evening. Cricket, soccer, people walking babies and dogs next trhe cache. Had to pretend I was an evening stroller myself and walk around the park perimeter, before quickly disappearing into the trees. Thanks for the visit to the domain, had seen it from the highway many times but had no idea how extensive this park is.
15:00 Thanks for the easy find. A few cricketers around and I felt a bit exposed walking over to the trees, but I think they were all concentrating on their game.
had to contort ourselves around the branches to get this one, but eventually we grabbed it, the kids got some nasty self inflicted blisters on the nearby monkey bars too. TFTC!
TFTC first timer was with us and he spotted it, left googly eye and fridge magnets.
The ground here was very wet and boggy but cache was easy to find once we negotiated the mud.
At last we got this one as last time in this area we came from the wrong way so couldn't get to it.

A squishy field makes for an interesting but wet walk for this one. Thanks for placing it!

Wandered past kids on bikes and throwing the odd ball around with KnK and IJ. Nice find on a warm afternoon. Sorry for late logging! TFTC.
Nice walk . . . . good chance to stretch our legs . . . and toilet facilities were much appreciated. Had never stopped here before. Always went on past to Muriwai! Thanks for getting us off the main road!
Out with Indiana Jill and Bookwormmum. Great area few muggles around but not near GZ. Indiana Jill came up with the goods on this one. Thanks for the adventure. TFTC!
Heading back up north and gathering finds along the way. This was a quick one with the reward of a short explore of the domain and a visit to the toilets with the lovely mosaic murals. NINO
Helping a friend shift house and was getting a bit over it so stole away for a few minutes to grab a cache and some cold cider to celebrate. Easy find. TFTC
Gadget-tron and I out on the way to Muriwai.
Brief stop in a great piece of open space.
Found my western kite field.

Completely missed the entrance to this park on our first attempt. The second attempt was a big d'oh! Found it quickly T4TC
My first couple of caches which i found with madkiwiman - my hubby. Nice walk across the field and we found the find pretty easy! TFTC
I'm here back visiting from the USA. My GPS is not working, but with a google earth map and clues, made the find with my wife and two friends up from wellington.

On our way back from Pine coning at Woodhill. Used to bring the kids here for their soccer games years ago. Park has been very well developed. Very arty toilets. SL. TNLN. TFTC.
Struggled to find the access (turns out we drove past it first time around) and then waded across the field to retrieve the cache. Put my boots on when I got back to the car Cheers Gav [3633]
We drove past the entrance to this one to start with, making it a longer mission than it needed to be. TFTC.
