Nice spot - but looked with Mister JD for 40 minute still no luck finding the cache think this has gone
My first "did not find"!!! Knightech and I looked for it for over half an hour. We found the "obvious" place straight off, with no luck. We then had a really good poke around, with no results. The location was really beautiful. I like geocaching - I doubt I would ever have got to this spot, despite passing the turnoff 100 or so times in my life.
100% confident we found the hide, but alas no cache. However very impressed by this out of the way spot. So close yet so out of the way.
Now this was a lovely spot I didn't know existed. The cache was lying exposed. We returned it to its rightful place and covered it. It is in need of a new log book.

Unfortunately we could have a bit of a field day with this one in relation to the name. Firstly we bottomed out on a cattle grid on our way to the cache. Then we had to dodge lots of cattle "patties". Then finally as we approached GZ we discovered that one of the visiting cattle had even used toilet paper. Well it was either a very clever cow or a piggy person! This spoilt the cache which was in an otherwise pleasant location. Found at 1535 - took nothing - left a beetle and ladybug. Thanks for the cache.
Great spot. Would have liked more time to drown a worm or two. Collected Wyoming travel bug to take to Central Victoria. Thanks.
We are in Narooma for a few days of relaxation, fishing and of course caching. We decided to head north and find some of the caches on the way to Tuross Heads. The countryside around here is so green and lush. The cows we drove right past were certainly enjoying the grass. We parked not far from GZ and once on the right level we had the cache in hand. This cache has been around for nearly six years so we decided to drop off the Wyoming TB. On the way back to the highway we stopped to take some photos of the very curious cows. TNLNSL TFTC
GeoKids were still asleep in the car so GeoWife went searching first and then GeoHubby found it later.
iPhone was having us search about 5m away from GZ. As soon as I stopped relying on the iPhone and looked around, I saw a likely (and correct) hiding spot.
We signed the log immediately under E Bunny who introduced us to GeoCaching.
TFTC and a lovely view of the river along with authentic cow smells!

Wow what a beautiful spot so glad we had the chance to look for this cache, we will certainly be going back on a nice day for fishing, picnicing and kayaking and or simply relaxing, thank you
Nice easy find on our day out with Macasmob.
Great place to fish and have a swim.
Thank you The Mountain Goat

Nice location. Found with Aspenology. Would be a great place to take boat out.. TFTC. TNLNSL
Pooring rain wasnt going to stop us from getting this one. Had to wait for boat load of fishing muggles and land fishing muggles to leave before searching. Got bogged on the way out. lol Advice to anyone.. when its been raining, stay on the road.

Wow, what a top little spot, nice and quiet as well as being very pretty. Didn't take too long to find the cache. Many thanks.
What a big surprise Bumbo Lake turned out to be. Thank you. We can't wait to get the kayak back on the water in summer. Great cache too.
Had a few issues with my GPS but was still able to find it... What a great location, I wish I had a picnic lunch and a fishing rod with me... TFTH... SL TNLN...

Noticed that this one wasn't too far from the highway and decided to take a punt and have a go at this one!
Nice drive in through the curious cows at dusk. This looks like a great spot to spend some time fishing so thanks for bringing us here.
Mr FM headed up the hill to find the cache, while Mrs FM peered into the water hoping to see some fish life.
The log only has 1 or 2 pages left and will need replacing soon.

Nice quick find with the Geokids on an afternoon drive. What a beautiful place. Thanks for bringing us here.
Driven past the turn off here I don't know how many times over the years we've been coming south on holidays. A cache gave us a good excuse to make a detour for a quick but prickly find. Great view of a lovely lake.
Thanks!
Thanks!

A few fishing muggles around so had to find a different parking spot and then go for the find. Definetly has the wrong shoes on for this one as I got a few pricles on the way.

Out finding some "treasures" with Fitzy and the geokid (Awesome L).
There were some fisherman around but well before where we needed to be.
There was however, a COW going for a swim! (see attached pic). That made for raucous laughter from all of us.
TFTC! Geokid took the orange hedgehog and left a compressed towel.

Nice location, the geowife got bitten by some blackberries on her way to GZ. Several fishermuggles around.
Found this one as we happened to be parked 30m away from it when we were having a picnic anyway! Lovely spot and some of the nicest views to both the mountains and the beaches.
Lovely spot on a nice drive. Pulled up to GZ to find what appeared to be some fellow cachers. Turned out it was DOMSKY from the ACT. Nice meeting you guys. TFTC.
We are going to add this to our favourites simply because of its gorgeous location-wish I'd been on my bicycle.
As we were leaving, another family of cachers arrived. Watch out for the enormous cowpats and the mozzies.
TNLN
Thanks, Domsky

Staying on a friends property on Bumbo Road, very impressed to find a cache so close. Went investigating the local fishing spots and dropped of a TB that needs to get (eventually) to Australia Zoo in QLD. Via any other zoo around (already visited the National Zoo and Aquarium, so please don't take back to the ACT). TFTC
So glad we turned off onto this road to seek the cache. Such a picture perfect example of the best rural NSW has to offer. Curious cows, beautiful river and a stunning kingfisher to boot - perfect. Anyone thinking about hunting this cache should think no longer - just go down and take a look. Took nothing, left pink cadillac - TFTC!!!!
Another nice spot for an overnighter but the signs say (camping prohibited), oh well the local farmers still share the water for fishing, boating and picnicing and the cache of course. TFTC.
A lovely location off the Highway, but it would have been nice to stay a while and launch the boat. Took geocoin and left a weroamin token.
Found it - all good. Love this area so beauty - I wish I could stay there longer.... Also plenty cows there - remind me of my childhood... No swap. SL. Thanks The Mountain Goat

Ah!! Another of those delightful riverside areas the guide books don't tell you about
Great for picnicing or fishing away the time
Cache was damp inside and I did me best to air it out a bit.

I tried for this cache today but the whole area is under water and we couldn't get any closer than 500m.
A nice find after letting the geohounds in for a swim in the river back down the road.
A beautiful short drive off the highway, through rolling green hills in such contrast to the dryness of the ACT. Thanks The Mtn Goat.

Our last of 7 finds today, with Mrs MPH.
A nice little spot here, but had an unpleasant experience while here - there was a middle aged muggle couple skinny dipping nearby, which if it had been Jennifer Hawkins would not have been an issue......but it wasn't..........(shudder).........
Nice quick find of the cache however and we left the area as soon as possible so as to not require psychiatric treatment....

200th cache find! WOOHOO!!!!
This is truly a beautiful spot on this fragile planet. Well worth visiting even if not GCing.
Obviously quite fertile land judging by the number of cow pats around the are of GZ!
Left a fish scale, TNSL TFTC

Found by Mary & David at 1015. Marvellous views. Quite a change to see rivers like this in comparison to most Victorian ones. Lots of people out with boats or fishing rods already. Our thanks once more to The Mountain Goat.
There certainly wasn't anyone around here today, I had the joint to myself.
A really nice spot by the river, unfortunately, no rod.
Maybe next time.
Thanks, Robmc

Another short detour had us a cool area along the river. A few muggles in the area, all by the river, so the cache could be located with hassle.
A great area, thanks again Mountain Goat.

Time for a Mea Culpa: I found this cache in November '09 with TraineeDiplomat and Aboreham but neglected to log it online at the time.

Found with Gloriosa. Mugglefisherpeople in locations to east and west but no view of GZ. Plenty of cowpads to avoid. TNLN. TFTC at a nice spot overlooking the river.
Our first find! we had lots of fun finding this, and woke two sleeping wallys to find it together as a team. Lots of fishermen wondering what we were doing!

My satnav refused to believe Bumbo Road was connected to the highway and wanted me to travel 33km in a round trip from the bridge. Luckily I refused to believe it and was there in short order. Quick find, you need to watch where you tread here. Thanks Mountain Goat.
