Found cache in the grass. No longer magnetic it seems. Log dry but could do with replacing as it is quite full but we found a bit of space to sign. Placed it where we thought it would have been if it was still magnetic but it may fall. thanks bshwckr
Had a look on our way back from Yellow Rock, but could not find it. Upon getting home and reading the recent logs, it seems there is something wrong with the cache.
Found after an extensive search of the area. It was broken so have put it back. Love the view
Quick find with the geokids in our attempts to maintain a streak. Day 33 of a planned 100 - although a mate tried to talk me into 150 yesterday so we'll see how we go. TNLN TFTC log a bit damp
Wonderful view, cache still unable to be located in its correct hiding place. New magnet needed.
Found in the grass at the bottom of something magnetic, returned to the same spot TFTC
Tftc, great spot I wish I could get access to fish the lagoon haha. Sorry the magnet fell off the cache so it is sitting in its hiding spot without it now... sorry!
We were having a leisurely trip down to Sydney to attend our church conference and visiting some relatives over a few days so we had some extra time to grab caches along the way.
We had stayed overnight at my sister & brother in laws who had bought a house in Cessnock and we were pleased to see a cache only 600 metres away ATCF.
We headed over, via the roads of course, shame we aren't crows!!!
We parked safely and headed to GZ.
Between muggle vehicles we grabbed the cache and headed off towards Sydney.
Thanks Bshwckr. TFTC SL

Beautiful Day today.. Jfindit take me drive to around to find caches.... Hide well.. thank
Headed North to The Hunter Valley early this morning to Kurri Kurri, Cessnock, Belbird and Paxton in company with ALL7 to do some exploring and hopefully find some caches. Great cache. TFTC
Grabbed this one while hunting landmarks for Picture Perfect. A pretty place. TFTC.
Grabbed this one on my way from Millfield at about 1 am. Co-ords where spot on and my first official bison tube!! Cool!! I noticed another one about 6km away on a hiking trail while I was there so I looking forward to coming back to do that one.

Fine view. We had a pie at the Paxton Hotel a few days earlier, after walking down from Mt Bright lookout near where we were staying, but hadn't the energy to go on to here that day, as we were already facing 10km up hill to 'home'. Glad we came back by car today.
Fence is badly damaged. Log is full.

What a pretty spot. Not a lot of traffic and a nice easy find. Geomum had the cache in hand in no time. Signed the log and returned the cache. TFTC bshwckr.
After spending the morning at the Maitland markets it was time to do some caching. We were organized today and even had a list of caches we were hoping to find. This was one of them and we enjoyed the hunt. We enjoyed the view.
Thanks to bshwckr.
Thanks to bshwckr.
A quick find on a drive through the valley picking up the few remaining caches left for me to grab on a beautiful day. The Cache is in good condition. TFTC bshwckr

Found while out on a Mothers day drive nice quick find and sign bit of traffic about today but large enough gaps to return the cache Thanks bshwckr for the hide
We parked with morning tea from the local shop and then looked in the most likely locations, the third one showed it to us from a distance. The view is something else, but a camera won't do it justice. Thanks for bringing us here.
Having lived in Pelton for a short while a few years ago I thought I would bring the posse and check if the bacon and egg rolls at Ellalong shop were still top notch - they were! Quick feed and drive around the corner had us at GZ. Although we had viewed log photos at home previously only took a short time to locate cache despite it not being where pictured.
There were some great views from this spot. The cache was found instantly since it was in plain sight. I moved it to the other side where it should be easy to find, but harder to spot for muggles. Thanks
I grew up in Cessnock & don't think I have ever been out this way to enjoy this view. To Paxton's down the road yes, this spot, no.
Bikerbuddy found the cache out in plain view, so we replaced it at the back instead of at the front for a little bit of concealment.
Thanks bshwckr

Reperio at 0810.
Had the day off work today so decided to head off for a walk or two, and stopped by this one on the way to 'Barraba Trig'. Once at GZ, the cache was quickly found, and I enjoyed the view of the wetlands from this spot.

This site was the end of our hike from Macleans Lookout. Lucky there was a cache at then end
Glad to find a cache to end our 30km hike through the Watagans. Always a highlight. TFTC. Nice views of the lagoon, it is For Sale too aparently.
After spending the night camped up in thw watagans we headed down this side and came around to explore this little valley, picking up this cache on the way. what a beautiful little hidden gem this valley is. Whilst down the end of the road we came across a couple of runners that had left our campsite just before us and made it here in almost the same time as us, but they had to turn around and run back up.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Great spot, glad it didn't get developed, nice quick find. TFTC.

We drove up to near this one and there was a couple of people sitting in a nearby car, but we were able to block their view of us while we conducted our search. We did quite a bit of searching in the spot that the hint suggested it would be, but in then end we spotted the cache in a toally different spot - not quite sue how the hint related to it at all! In the area for a 40th party. The walk here in the crisp morning helped the after effects from the night before!!
And there are monster carp in the pond below.

Replaced the log sheet and the container. New container should be a bit more waterproof. Still a mico and you still need to bring your own pen.
Found at 4.45pm GAFF1. What a vista we experienced as we drove over the crest! The light of the setting sun illuminated the whole valley below - just magnificent - we weren't expecting that and a great way to finish off the day's caching.
The container certainly isn't a small micro as described, which put us off for a moment and some one before us placed it upside down so the log sheet is now totally saturated. Some cachers just aren't that clever!
Thanks bshwckr.

Whoa what a great spot we really liked this one, it would be a good spot to come to under less frantic circumstances (Big Caching Day Out) and just take in all the bird life.
Thanks for bringing us here

8:20 - Number 9 of 51 found today on a ruffasgutts4x4 Hunter Discovery Tour. This turned out to be a memorable event for me, my 1,000th Cache. After handshakes all round and checking out the birds it was back in the Disco for some more Caches.

TFTC,
Finally got round to having another go at this one, and I know I definately checked this position out before. It must have been muggled the last time I came.
It's quite hard to get without being seen as it seems to be a very busy junction.

Quick find how ever looks like somebody has taken the fence out recently so may have to keep an eye on when they repair it.

If the Routers cannot find a micro it is usually because it is not there. The erection that this one was on has now altered and it looks like to cache has been lost in the long grass. Have replaced it very nearby on what is hopefully a more permanent location.

What a excellent micro, had me looking all around until my young fella said "DAD I'VE FOUND IT". Thanks bshwckr for a great cache.
Stopped and enjoyed the views. Had a hunt round, but no luck this visit. I will have to try it again next time.
Found this one as the last cache for the day, I got some good photos of the views while Shell signed the log.

We had some time to explore the back roads and in the ten years I have been coming to this area I had never traveled the 3km from our holiday area to see this spot. It is really a great area to sit and take in the beauty. I was ready for the small size of the cache and had it quite quickly. I really wanted to post a pic I took yet will let the cache speak for itself and each finder will get their own sense of satisfaction. TFTC
What an amazing view. In over 20 years of travelling between Wollombi & Cessnock we had never turned off the road in Millfield. Glad you led us here. Like the Bower Birds Mrs Riptide found this one.
I cant remember when i found this one, but it was in January some time.
an awsome view I will have to come back some time with the camera.

OK, I'll take First-to-Find honours for this one. This was the start of an interesting trip home from Maitland to Singleton via Paxton, Cooranbong and Dora Creek (find that route on a map!).
For interest's sake I discovered that the road leading South (Congewai Road) from the cache site is not *technically* a No Through Road as stated on the sign nearby. It joins up (in a round-a-bout sort of way) with Rope Road in the Watagans.
Anyway, I digress, enjoyed the hunt and added this to the list of the equal-smallest cache containers I have ever found. Beautiful views, thanks for bringing me there. Left my mark. TFTH!
