Discovered today whilst visiting 2 Wells

25-Sep-23
I have my doubts that this is a trig. There mus t be something more. Coords had me in a garden opposite the plaque. I’ll see what else I can find in the morning.

12-Jun-23

Found this site while in the area on way to On Your Bike series

27-Sep-21
Found with budgietas and stainless steel rat whilst in the area. The area seems to have had a recent revamp

found this while looking at the Wells

06-Jan-19
found this while out and about

13-Nov-18
Found it relatively easy. I think I have it right as it is my first trig point cache.

02-Jun-18
I didn't see the trig mark near the plaque. A rake would have been handy. But I found the marker on the post near the fence. TFTC.

16-Oct-17
A quick stop here on our way to Adelaide. Found the marker near the fence and a plaque at GZ

02-Jul-17
By my measurement the benchmark appears to have been replaced by a plaque!

28-Mar-17
Didn't find the disk, which I think is well covered by a bush adjacent to the plaque shown in the photo. Did find a notice indicating its presence in that area.

I've been through Two Wells many times before the highway was moved, and past it many times since, so it was interesting to visit the renovated wells which gave the location and the town its name.

TFTC

found while in the area . thanks for the cache Clapping very overgrown and lots o bees so did not hunt for the disk

21-Oct-16
GCA 1235 - 13265. Found this during my visit to SA / the Yorke Peninsula.

Difficult to spot the marker without destroting the plants !

TFTC !!

#GA1043 - 08:45; Arrived in South Australia on the early morning flight with Sol de lune. After being picked up by albida33 and fitzy_1965, we headed north towards Port Wakefield on our 5 day mission around South Australia, with a major focus on collecting the geoart around the Yorke Peninsula. Stopped along the way to collect this trig, which is now quite overgrown. Interesting history lesson. TFTC Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

First stop with LuckyL10 and fitzy_1965 (and albida) on our 5 day run around SA, especially Yorke Peninsula. The survey marker here is next to the bronze plaque as the hint says, but with the wild growth of the bushes, you cant really get into the marker. So here is a photo of the bronze plaque, as well as the post saying the marker is approx 8.4 metres back...towards the bronze plaque....

Well we grabbed while visiting the wells a two for one deal the trig took well longer to find as our GZ was well off and it was well camouflaged. But all went well in the end.
Well that's all for now .
Thanks.

09-Apr-14
Found today with GrimRaider on our SA caching road trip. We are travelling to Port Augusta today and have targeted some of the trigs along this route. This was the first for the day and it was great to stop and find out about this place. Took us a little while to find the trig. Thanks for sharing Very Happy

2 for the price of 1. Just what cachers who have a lot of travelling to do in a day love. Thanks.

01-Jan-12
Found Two Wells Trig during our trip to Yorke Peninsula for a few days.

29-Dec-11
Last time here finding a cache I forgot to capture the trig, so a quick snap was taken while collecting a frog that was visiting the next tree.

26-Dec-11
A quick grab at the start of the APM series, and a chance to have a look at the Two Wells.

03-Oct-11
I think that's probably just a survey mark. But a nice spot to return to for a photo.

31-Jul-11
A quick find on our way home from the "Big smoke"

22-Jul-11
A nice easy find with the help of the clues. Didnt know anything about this place's existance.

26-Mar-11
There is no evidence of this ever being a trig point, just looks like a regular survey mark to me. I'll happily take the find though, as it seems to be the thing to do with these cache types.

27-Feb-11
Our first GA cache on our SA visit. Interesting small park and two large wells.

16-Jan-11
On way to Adelaide from Moonta
Thanks for the TP ClappingMr. Green

25-Oct-10
A quick find as we headed off to start the APM Power Trail.

17-Oct-10
Interesting to see a TP without a pyramid. Here's a picture of one of the well's instead.

02-Oct-10
Interesting to see a trig with no pyramid and plate, but a nice plaqued rock instead!

02-Oct-10
I found the nearby cache over two years ago, before trig pointing was introduced. Today, I made another visit to the wells for the TP.

27-Jul-10
found with little sammy!

19-Apr-10
A dual find with the two wells cache. Thanks

16-Apr-10
After spending the day hiding the 26 cache Australian Prime Minister series, I grabbed a few caches for myself.

Quick find on this one.

20-Feb-10
