I searched for this a few months ago, but couldn’t find anything. Today I was searching for a nearby GC and decided to have another look. There must have been some clearing as this time I found it quickly. TFTT
With a day off, what better way to spend it than to get out and find some unfound trigs. Thanks GA, love the trigs.

After all the rain that we have had around Sydney over the last few days it has been good to have a bit of nice weather today. Decided on a drive up the Central Coast & Lake Macquarie after some of the trigs along the way where there are a few clumps around. In the end I got to 26 trigs after that there was a long drive and I ended up getting home at about 8pm.
The fourth one I looked for was Evelyn a pm box
Thanks for the trig took the required photo

I could see no obvious trigs as I looked around, so i assumed that I was looking for a hole in a rock or a metal lid. So i had to trust my GPS unit. It served me well and i had the trig in about 3 minutes of circling in torwards it.

A DNF for me several years ago but the area has been cleaned up considerably since then. Even so, this wasn't an easy find and it was only when I detected a depression about the right size for a cairn that I uncovered the CI box in the centre. I opened the box, disturbing the ants, and discovered yellow painted stone or concrete at the bottom with a hemispherical bump in the middle. I couldn't determine what material the bump was made from, mainly because clearing inside the box came with the risk of upsetting the already-irate ants that had started to mount an attack on this intruder.

#GA1265 - 12:30; Day 2 of a Sydney caching mission with Sol de lune was underway and after a couple of finds at our northern boundary, we were headed south again. After a quick find at Cowan, we made our way to this trig. Bent a key trying to open the lid, so had to be content with a shot with it shut TFTC Geocaching Australia

Next stop for LuckyL10n and I as we headed around the area grabbing a few more caches...most of which were trigs. Try as we might, we couldn't get the lid open on this one....and even managed to bend a key in the process....so grabbed a photo as it was.....

Down in Sydney to get a few more Waymarks to fill up some more of 'that Calendar', I also wanted to get some of the trigs that i had found back in the 1980s.
Found the trig, and then had to go back to the car to get a more substantial 'multi-tool' to get the lid of the PM box open.
Nice to see the name plate; cleared some of the dirt out, and found the marker beneath. Found @ 1630
(I can't find an entry for a search for "Evelyn", but it may have been a search for 'just' a circle and spot height using a Grid Reference in AusGeo66.)

Second attempt, a couple days ago I had to abort as I was at Berowra railway station when it started raining.
Today it was better so a quick walk from the station soon had the cache in sight, photos taken now to go and check a couple GC further down the track.

Found today on the way north to Tuggerah Lakes. Great to turn off the road and grab a few trigs. TFTC
Spotted this one nice and quickly today, the vegetation has been cleared and the pink ribbons showed up from a short distance. Nice and easy.
I'd had two abortive expeditions to this site and found nothing in the past however today I noted that another cacher had found the trig even though the listing had been archived. I unarchived it and headed off. Parked at the end of the road and walked into familiar territory. There was a newly fallen tree near GZ which made me less hopeful. Also some neighbours eyeing me suspiciously although it's nowhere near their land.
Eventually found the hatch with its pink ribbon. Got the photo but then couldn't open the hatch so went back to the car for the screwdriver. Even then it was very difficult to lever open so I recommend bringing your specialist tool for this. I was pleased to see the "Evelyn TS" plate inside. There doesn't appear to be a locating pin but it looks like the original rock marking has been preserved and painted yellow. There are even a few stones left in the ground around the hatch which may have been part of the original cairn. Glad the scrub was cleared so this could be found again.

Found this one fairly easily as Coords are spot on. It is located approx 20m East of the firetrail gate, at the end of Wideview road. Most of the lantana had been removed and someone attached the pink ribbon.

I'm pretty sure there's nothing there to find and Baktrak's log confirms this. Of course if anyone gets lucky they can bring this back.
The lantana is not too thick but found no sign of anything promising. Remnants of past dumping, rusted car bits, builders rubble etc abound.
I'd like to have a look for this one, but suspect that Yurt has already done as much as humanly possible. If this trig was re-placed in 'PM' style, then it could be nearly impossible to find in the undergrowth -- if in fact it still exists.
We'd had a look for this one further down the hill from the indicated coords a few months ago. I'd only estimated coords from old maps.
This time I had the new rogerw3 coords and found myself at GZ right at the start of the fire trail. There's lantana here and then open bush but I couldn't see any sign of a trig or PM in any shape or form. No telltale yellow markings on trees where the surveyors have made our work easier.
It could be buried if it's a PM but you'd need a metal detector. It doesn't look a likely trig location except it's high up but they would have had to clear a lot of trees to get a sighter on this spot from anywhere. That didn't stop them in the old days I guess.
Someone else can have a look before this is archived.
