Description
A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ, and photograph it.
Official Name: Wooli
Official Code: TS6773
A trig point (also known as a Trigonometric Station) typically consists of a black disc on top of four metal legs or concrete pillar, resembling a navigation beacon. It is also accompanied by a metal disc, which is located directly below the center point of the tripod or on top of the pillar itself.
Trig points are generally located at the top of hills or points of prominence in the landscape. Many provide unique views and challenges, with some being difficult to get to.
These points were regarded as valuable to surveyors, providing reference points for measuring distance and direction, and assisting in the creation of maps.
To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the trig point, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. Long distance / telephoto type pictures are against the spirit of this cache. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the trig point.
The original collection of trig points has been sourced from Geoscience Australia and may contain inaccuracies. This one was 'sourced from' SIX Maps NSW.
Please respect local laws and regulations when searching for trig points. If you believe that a trig point is located on private property or in a dangerous location, you may archive the cache, by clicking on Log this Cache and place an "Archived" log on the Geocaching Australia website.
If you feel that you can add to the description of this trig point or adjust the difficulty / terrain ratings, please feel free to edit this cache and amend the information suitably. Vandalism of the cache description or other information will result in your account being terminated.
*EDIT: Changing from a Duplicate in Tasmania, (S43° 07.865 E146° 52.227), Four Foot Plains ST649, TP7388; to a Trig that can be found, in NSW; 6/5/2018
Addtional Information:
Access is from parking just north of, and then walking around a beachside cottage at 158 Main Street, where there is already a semi-trampled track to Wooli Beach. Then head south, and scramble up the sand dune.

Logs
On the way back we tried a more obvious path over the dunes which led us to the back of the house and a much more obvious path through the grass.
For those following, stick close to the fence and it is easier.
Thanks for the Trig Listing.
Note: Photo didn't load with log through app. Photo lost.
I parked on the grassy verge, just north of a cottage (158 Main Street), where a handyman was doing some renovations. There is a trampled path to the north of it, and I climbed the lightly vegetated sand dune, and over to Wooli Beach. It was just a short walk down to the concrete pad that the concrete pedestal trig is built on. There was a picnic table there, strapped by nylon webbing to the trig!
The white plastic post had been capped, and there was no 'sign' of the usual black vanes - not even in the bushes. The name plate had been removed. There were rusty stains running down the weathered white paint, so it could do with a little TLC if it is to be used again.
