Gallery of log for Wooli TP

20-Dec-17
I was on a two-day road trip north from Taree to find Waymarks that had 'cropped up' since I was last in the area, and found Minnie Waters Trig. With a Database of over a thousand Trig Points to check out at some time, and see if they are actually findable, I plugged a few into my GPSr, and decided to go exploring while in the Wooli area.
I parked on the grassy verge, just north of a cottage (158 Main Street), where a handyman was doing some renovations. There is a trampled path to the north of it, and I climbed the lightly vegetated sand dune, and over to Wooli Beach. It was just a short walk down to the concrete pad that the concrete pedestal trig is built on. There was a picnic table there, strapped by nylon webbing to the trig!
The white plastic post had been capped, and there was no 'sign' of the usual black vanes - not even in the bushes. The name plate had been removed. There were rusty stains running down the weathered white paint, so it could do with a little TLC if it is to be used again.
