We found the nearby physical cache by coming up across the ski fields. Having reached the actual summit and located the trig marker (at what is my highest Tasmanian point reached so far … I think), we then thought it might be quicker and easier to return by going down to the track on the NE side. It wasn't, which made our return a little later than we'd intended. However, the views on the whole route were spectacular and it was well worth the visit.
