Made the climb on this hot day to find the GC unknown, which depends on knowing this trig. The trig is in good nick and obviously gets a lick of paint when needed. Fantastic panorama here.
This TS was surveyed on 7 December 1976 but nothing was found. The surveyor noted "No ground mark found" and "No Cairn Mast or Vanes found." Nine days later, another surveyor noted "No Beacon". The pillar and nameplate were placed on March 19, 1977 and surveyed two days later. It was designated as "GS 1217".
