On a 'gong escarpment trig road trip with rogerw3.
A brief stop for the GA cache and on to the well cared fire trail to Southend ... there is the brief, hard and no doubt scratchy way off to this trig, but rogerw3 had some cunning nous and quickly sussed a better way.
The trig's tripod mast with vanes has toppled with rust and age but the cairn and nameplate remain. Well worth the walk, for although the tripod has fallen they are not all that common (or at least not for the 'mushroom)
