I found the first surveyors buddies! They were sitting around the marker having a chat. Do I walk past and come back later hoping they'd moved or just go and engage? I chose the latter, after all I wasn't giving a hiding location away or anything. It also gave me another opportunity to spruik geocaching. One of the guys had found a few in the Blue Mountains and they were all mildly concerned about the fact that I was walking around Bankstown by myself (it's not that bad really, certainly not at 10:30 in the morning). I grabbed a photo (sans surveyors as I couldn't convince them to pose) and left them to wait for their other mate who's ear I'd bashed earlier.
