Thanks to the work done by the previous finder, darsenator, who located, dug the dirt, grass and accumulated debris away from the brass button, put orange marker tape on the fence and provided driving instructions, we were able to locate this trig point today.
We parked near the barrier and walked the short distance to the trig marker. We noticed that the local authorities appear to be planning some development of the road and possibly the canal.
We were glad it was cold and wet today and the snake seen when the previous finder was in the area was well hidden.
