Gallery of log for Bucket List Achievement
I've never had a bucket list, I didn't even know what it was until about a year ago. I started geocaching in July 2015 and have been to some places I didn't know existed in my own backyard literally. I'd like to see where geocaching will take me.
Anyway, I wanted to visit Sea Cliff Bridge north of Wollongong, just because it looked beautiful on tv. I have since had reason to go there - geocaching - in fact, I have been there about three times now. I then got an idea I wanted to walk the entire length of the bridge, which I did, over and back. At the time I had a newborn and so I got another idea to breastfeed bubs on the bridge, which I did. Then came another idea to walk across Sydney Harbour Bridge. I have driven it and trained it, so walking was next. And yes, I have walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge too now. These weird ideas we conjure up make wonderful memories and quirky stories to tell the grandchildren.
I am slowly finding things to add to my bucket list which seem to become grander as time ticks on. So what's next I hear you ask, well, with a new lost of caches having come out on bridges I have a little bucket list to visit each one and walk them, this includes Sydney Harbour Bridge again, and also to visit as many lighthouses as I can. I have been to quite a few lighthouses over the years, so I am keen to visit more in coming years. Actually, with summer holidays here it maybe a good time to head off to the big smoke and tackle those bridges.
