Gallery of log for Stained Glass Windows
When we moved to Ulverstone in 1977, the Ulverstone Catholic Church did not have any stained glass windows. The then Parish Priest (Fr Joe Howe) had a long term dream of having two windows installed, one either side of the altar. The late Nora Lillas, a parishioner and local artist, created a number of designs and two were chosen, constructed and installed in the mid 1980s. The photo added to the Gallery is of one of the windows, a nativity scene which is most appropriate for this Christmas Season. Thanks corunnaroad for the cache.
