I grew up just up the road from this place so it was a nice surprise to discover that there was a geocache here. It's a very beautiful place - the CO's photo really doesn't do it justice so I attached one of my own below!

After a wee bit of bush bashing I found the cache exactly as described and still in excellent condition even after these past few years!

Definitely come and walk here even if you don't want to clamber through undergrowth. The bush bashing is only the last few metres nd the path around the lake is clear, flat and wide. It's unfortunately not wheelchair accessible due to the bollards at the start but it is a very easy and relaxing walk!
