Great weather for a walk up to Barrenjoey Headland. We'd stopped at the lighthouse to get the trig and the virtual, found the trad GC, but I through I saw something else on the map, as difficult as it was to see on my phone screen, seeming to indicate two more trigs. I couldn't get any better info from the GCA website (fat fingers, teeny icons) so I aimed in the general direction. Luckily I saw a white pole from the path and we found a way to approach that was manageable. Upon arrival we found the top section of the trig laying on the ground beside the mounting structure. Based on the pictures in the logs it had been replaced after bushfires, but this one was dead again. We propped it up for a photo, Weekend at Bernies like, but couldn't do much more than that. So it's still here, but in pieces.
