Second and last of the day!
It turned out that the so called track is more of a goats track than anything and it does tend to hide from you at times. My companion was not very impressed with me for getting her out of bed for this.
But once the worst part over it was a lovely walk/scramble to GZ and the last thing we expected was to see the cache sitting on top of the rock about 8 metres from the coords. It was intact with a still blank log no idea what happened. We replaced it at the coords as per the hint I hope that is OK blossom*?
From there the plan was to get the other 2 caches but after getting on the wrong track on top of the ridge we vainly tried to find the start of the Midway Ridge Trail, following several tracks that did not go anywhere.
We never got closer than 420 metres and usually much further. Another trip is planned for another go but I fear this time I will be by myself as on the way down I managed to lose the trail and we had to bush bash back down to the shore, not an easy thing to do.
Anyeay thanks for this cache as far as the other 2 are concerned they will have to wait.
