A State Rail Authority Survey Mark on Platform One Mittagong Railway Station. The survey mark is triangular in shape & located at the southern end of the platform. It is the same colour as the platform's surface & is difficult to see. The photograph of it on the platform shows how well it blends in. You need to be mindful that unscheduled high speed trains pass through this station so ensure the line is clear before taking a photo & keep well back from the yellow line.
