Gallery of log for The Cemetery Bonanza
This is the old Catholic Cemetery at Tallebudgera, but used to be the site of St Malachys Catholic Church. I know this because Suzy and Pete have a cache here for geocaching.com.
Its a very old cemetery, the church which used to be here was built in 1878 and was the first Catholic church south of Beenleigh. As a cemetery, its still in use but I think you have to have some connection with Tallebudgera and the pioneering families.
To prove that we were there. I am including a photo of William Dolan's headstone, he was one of the pioneers of Tallebudgera and his wife Margaret was instrumental in raising funds to build the church. I also have a photo of the cemetery in general. You can see some of the newer graves. We found two from 2016.
Thank you for this locationless.
