When we arrived at this location today we were fortunate that a tram was there just about to take a group of tourists on a tour of parts of Bendigo. It is great to see that the tram heritage of Bendigo has been preserved as a living memorial. We lament that the tram heritage of Hobart (both single and double decker trams) is no longer active although they can be seen in a transport museum.
