A lovely day to be out and about in this autumnal weather. The bush around here is very dry at the end of the long hot dry summer. One can only wonder what it would have been like to travel through here back then when Burke and Wills and their entourage, travelled along unmade tracks, with their camels.
So much easier for us in modern vehicles with air conditioning and full protection from the elements.
It is lovely to see their trek has been recognised with this track named in their honour.
