#GA2597 - 11:25; After a few days in Melbourne visiting the geoaunt in hospital and the geostudent, it was time to head north for home again. It was quite a nice day and with plenty of time up my sleeve, I decided a couple of short detours from the highway would relieve some of the boredom and keep me alert for the long solo drive. After a disappointing DNF on a now deceased trig and collecting a couple of GC caches along the way, I had already picked up one of my target caches for today in Kilmore, when I spotted this trig on the map and decided that it wasn't too far off my intended route to make an additional detour. Managed to find the way in and up the hill towards GZ on a partly paved road. Turned around at the tower and parked not too far from GZ and began the stroll to the top. The trig was hidden behind a small tree from the angle of approach, but I spotted it as I got closer. Grabbed a snap and headed off again. Didn't have any of the nearby GC caches loaded for this trip, so perhaps I'll need to come back again one day! TFTT Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus
