The CEyres first Trig cache, but definitely not the last. As expected this cache had commanding views of Northern Tasmania and is easily accessed. My 5 year old daughter walked up the hill fairly easily but fell asleep on the way down, she literally was too tired to walk....We spent a long time up here apart from finding the three caches, we came armed with maps and compasses and therefore planned a few more walks and caches. We were fortunate to have reasonably clear weather and were impressed by the cloud formation and collapse on nearby Mount Rolland. We assume a fire tower must have been here before the trig point....there is a lot of broken plate glass around and some solid looking foundations.
