Gallery of log for Gold Coast Beaches - Burleigh Heads
Lots of interesting stuff to see on our walk to the cache, fairy wrens flitting in and out of the bush, lifesavers who have decorated their lifeguard tower with Christmas decorations, an adolescent butcher bird, lots of mobikes, and finally the cache. I took Max down the beach and while we looked at Burleigh Headland I told him the story about Jabreen, the Aboriginal creator spirit who one day ate too much bush honey, he sat at the waters edge to wash off the sticky nector from his fingers and then he settled down for a nap. When we woke he stood up and stretched, creating the Burleigh Headland. They say you can still see his giant rocky fingers stretching out from the headland.
Thanks for the cache.
