Climbed Mt Townsend on day 8 of an 8 day walk along the AAWT from Kiandra to Thredbo. We camped at Wilkinson Creek the night before and headed to the summit first thing before the weather changed - managed to climb the two highest peaks in Australia before 9:30am. Views from Townsend were nice and it was well worth the climb.
