This ice cream van was at a Chinese cultural festival we attended this weekend.
It was a hot day and there was a big crowd. A variety of savoury oriental dishes were on sale, but nothing sweet for dessert.
Consequently the van was doing a roaring trade.
When asked what flavour I would like on my icecream sundae Salted Caramel was my choice, and that wasn’t on the menu, so I asked for chocolate with a swirl of strawberry topping to make Cherry Ripe flavour. He’d never heard of that before and, when he was making it for me, said that it looked delicious, and had given him the idea to add it to his menu.
