What a derelict old building this is now. It looks like it has had a fire through it at some stage too.
Noticed a For Sale sign on the corner as we approached this one too.
Think it would have been quite a grand building in its time but like a lot of these institutions a nightmare for the kids that had to live there.
Have read quite a few accounts written by children brought up in orphanages and your heart goes out to them for what they endured both physically and mentally.
