Is it a wishing well? Well, it's certainly a well, and you can make a wish if you want! I positioned my Oregon 300 GPSr with its jaunty orange streamer right on the edge of the ancient stone structure for this photo and make a wish that it wouldn't fall in.



Located at the headquarters building complex of the Scheyville National Park, northwest of Sydney, this historic site has served a number of uses over the years.

I arrived here searching for a 'mystery cache' so won't say more.

It's one of those locations that you can't believe you didn't know about, after spending decades traveling nearby.
