Gallery of log for Ivory

17-Jul-23
I had the day off today and none of my normal adventure buddies were available to go and do something with so I got to go on a solo walk which I haven’t done in a while. I have been meaning to head out and grab a few of these trigs for a while as they are quite local to me but they to need a bit of time allocated to them to head out for the whole day, often for just 1 trig. After trying for a few of the other trigs around but not wanting to deal with all the private property signs. I settled on doing the 11km out and back to grab Ivory Trig. It was a very easy and nice walk out from Canoelands road, it was reasonably warm for July and I even got a bit of unforcasted rain. The last big of the off track to the trig was on the thicker side but nothing too overwhelming. The old trig is still there de piled while the new one has had a nasty melting experience the last time a fire came through and the vanes have bent right over and are touching the ground.
All in all a great day out
