Looked again and still didn't find it so I took the Ex and Eldest with me. The Ex found him! I was in the wrong clump of trees. He is chattering away about all the different types of spiders he has seen and the various birds that flew overhead. It's very hot at the moment so he's having a break in the cool for a little while.
