I've walked the Thark Ridge track a couple of times. Thark Ridge is a smidge lower than Mt Wellington which is in the background of my photo. Whilst the original hiders along the track had serious/sensible names for the caches, some of the newer ones are a bit fun/naughty eg For Thark's Sake, What a Tharking Great View!, Baby Thark, and Thark That! to name a few. The track to Thark Ridge is reasonably flat from the road but quite rocky and uneven. On a clear day there are great view to Mt Wellington and Dead Island. The area had provided some tharking great mountain moments!
