As usual I got half way up the hill & led mtrax nicely into a field of thistles - they drew blood on covered legs, so I hate to think how his legs fared in shorts! After enjoying the views at the top & taking the obligatory photos, we made sure to take a more circuitous route back down that was far more thistle-free.
