I was looking for a gnome, and the cache that it was sitting next to.
The light was beginning to fail and I eventually resorted to using a torch.
I spotted what might be a good site so ducked my head towards the spot.
I hadn't noticed the broken off branch at about eye level so as I ducked I drove the branch into my forehead.

In a 'half full' attitudinal basis, at least I didn't poke my eye out.
