Our second trig for the area today, after completing Burns Peak. This one required the walking boots be pulled on, took some lunch & headed off on a near perfect day.A fairly steep start which opens out onto an open area before heading up onto the ridge. Easy to follow track to the ridge turn off. We made it about 950m to the trig point from here,the track gets a bit vague the closer you get, as there are several good vantage points before the trig & I guess not everyone goes all the way. Spectacular views the reward for about an 1 3/4 hr walk. Return much quicker! Back to the Tullah motor inn for a cold beer, excellent meal & log fire. Perfect end to a perfect day.
