Gallery of log for Upper Castlereagh
Yes, this trig is still in place and, in fact, in very good shape.
It wasn't ideal that I reached GZ only after midnight, on my way from the Blue Mountains back to work in Dural. The trig and its support post and vanes are located on an interesting historic site, just behind a lovely square stone tower.
No vandalism was evident. The side name plaque was intact.
My photos are poor, but I was lucky to get any images at all -- using only my iPhone camera and a little torch.
But a great trig to find.
Thanks to rogerw3 for re-discovering it.
'Three Thumbs Up' for the historical setting.
