A great little find this one, just a few meters off the track and somewhat hidden by the vegetation, but still visible. A short scramble up the slope and there it is a complete Trig, well pretty much, the post has a severe lean where the PVC has been heat affected during a bushfire, it did not burn just showing how incredibly hot the radiant heat can be. The PVC on one side simply softened and started to lean toward the fire.
A very nice short walk to GZ as the fire trail is gated but well worth the little effort to get there.
