Found it! Well, I found the remains anyway....
Parked in the nearby street and found a pathway to the top of the hill through a vacant block. Fantastic view over Cable Beach and the Broome area from the top.
The given coordinates was marked with a sign on a star picket stating that there was a Survey Mark located _____ metres from here on a bearing of ____ . I had a little look but couldn't find any obvious markers nearby. What was apparent still was the concrete foundation and fallen remains of the collapsed tripod of the trig point. Well worth a visit for the view alone!
