Gallery of log for Dudley Point/East Point
WanderingAus wandered by on day 31 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, after dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at Coconut Grove Senior Cits for a couple of hours of line dancing.
GZ seemed to be aiming at a concrete pillar inside a steel tower, so I climbed the ladder, stepping around the "don't go past here" barrier on the way, and on reaching the top confirmed that it was in fact a Trig Point. I took the requisite photo, with my gpsr and portions of my chest, legs and shoes also in frame.
To my surprise I found the name of the Trig Point was East Point, not Dudley Point. The name is clearly stamped on the brass plate, but for more clarity I've enlarged it at the top of the photo. I make this a Difficulty 1 Terrain 2.
There is quite an impressive view from the top of the tower too.
