Gallery of log for Cow De Knaves

One of nine trigs logged by rogerw3 and me today, this one was the most humourous -- if you can say that about a trig!

I suggested to rogerw3 that we call this one 'the camo trig' because it looked very much like the old pedestal-and-vanes had wrapped a 'cloak of invisibility' around itself!

The story in rogerw3's log is very true. If the trig had jumped out, it would really have scared us!

Anyhow, the bush camo seems to have kept this one in good shape and we were probably the first people to actually see it for some years. We parted the bushes (with some contortions) for the photos, but then left everything in place, just as we found it.

Great to see vanes in good condition and an intact plaque.

Congrats to rogerw3 for calculating the coordinates so close to the pedestal that we finally found it despite ourselves . . .

And nice views from here too . . .

'Three Thumbs Up' for the fun!
