Made a slight detour from Chatswood station on my way to Central Station!!!
The stone pillar is still there next to the footpath on the Pacific Highway. The combined direction plate Trig mount has been taken so there is nothing left but the stone pillar. But that is the remnants of the Trig.
And yes I am aware that there is a cache 5 metres away, but since it is a micro I treated it with the contempt it deserves and ignored it. So many other hiding spot where you could have put a small or even regular cache.
