The highest restaurant in Australia at Mt Crackenback, just a little above Thredbo....1937 metres above sea level.

You arrive at the top of the chairlift and then walk almost straight into the restaurant. We only had a bit of morning tea, but the views (and the chairlift ride) are well worth the visit.
