The webcam caches been a stumbling block for me till now, both in terms of technology and skills, but given that I'm now equipped with mobile wifi for my laptop, I'm on a mission to do the ones around Hobart. This is my second, having done the Wrest Point one yesterday! (Don't think my skills have improved much yet...) I had looked at the gallery photos and decided there was a good spot just down from the school entrance. Given that I work there, that would make things easy. I was leaving late this evening, so with no-one about I went down and sat on the grass with my laptop and waited for the next update. It's a bit embarrassing to admit that it took me a good 10 minutes to figure out that the camera position must have changed slightly since the other photos were taken and the spot I was in, actually wasn't in the frame! So then I drove around to the other side and got myself to the next closest viewing spot. It took another few updates to get it all sorted, but I'm pleased that I was successful in the end!
