I have been having trouble finding a stained glass window in the local area or other areas I have visited lately. Checked the large churches but no go so I decided to stop looking. Was in Toowoomba today and we decided to stop at a cafe in Margaret Street near the Southern side of Queens Park. In days gone by this area was lavish and those with money built homes here. Today most of the homes on this side of the street for two full blocks have been converted into Medical centres, Cafes or in one case several knocked down to build a Motel. The old house that we went into to have our coffee has been well respected with the alterations and there are numerous windows with stained glass all different and all depicting scenes that appealed to the owners.
