Out here from Burning Palms, where KoolKath and I were on beach patrol. Thought I come around and check the life rings at the wall. Usually, we do it by driving the duck here, however, just wanted to see the pools. Had my new camera lens on, for the first time today - fantastic zoom from 18mm to 250mm for my pentax K20D.

So much to see - always love the headlands and the rock formations. The snails, the chinascript weathering, the cracks... Tide was descending, so good walk and watching the splashes of the waves.

Thought I'll send some of the photos to my friends. Since I was just by myself, fully equipped in Life Saver uniform, rescue tube and radio, I though, I won't plunge in today - but certainly next time, to come out with more people.

Sorry for not bringing the GPS here! Left it at the clubhouse, as I thought, a photo will do!
