Gallery of log for Wondabyne
A memorable walk and a great day for this my 400th Trig. About 17km return to Woy Woy station and 4 hours, but that includes a good 40 minutes enjoying the amazing views from the top of Mount Wondabyne.
I thought that my trip came to an abrupt end when I came to the 6 feet tall locked gate on the side of the local tip, but there was a small space left on purpose for walkers to squeeze through from there a wide fire trail takes you to the base of the promontory and a well defined walking track goes all the way to the foot of the Trig.
This is a well used track and you will see many walkers along the way obviously a favored destination and easy to understand when you get to the top and get blown away by the incredible vista around you.
But back to the trig, it is in excellent condition and bit of graffiti but nothing to detract from its appeal.
